Bike & Frame Weight

Then why would you want anything other than steel you plonker? I'd rather have a frame that could take a pounding and be repaired than shatter.
Just look around you, whats every half decent freestyle bike(whatever wheel size) made of?

Well I have a steel frame atm, it's way too heavy. I assumed that, because of it's weight, steel wouldn't be ideal for a trick fixie...maybe i'm wrong. But yeah, I guess it'll need to be prepared to take a pounding.
