No, i sheered the top part of the post off while trying to rotate it in a vice, so nothing to grab on to. I then sawed it off right near where it goes into the seat tube and tried the sawing slits into it method.. no luck so then got a screwdriver and prised it away from the seatube.. making a slight bulge in the seat tube.
The things a mess haha
still want to try dissolving it out, just had no time this christmas
