@ xanderh, if I can be of any help and offer any advice (as an old industry warhorse) then do let me know - I'd be happy to. Amongst other things I'm a mentor at the SCA so that involves offering advice to youngsters wanting to get into advertising.
@ CYOA, my advice about platforms was more meant for xanderh not you. The SCA (School of Communication Arts) doesn't offer an MA but google it anyway. I've done a lot of work in the past few years for clients like Hewlett Packard, Renault and others where film production was a key part to the project/communication. The production company we used was RSA in Soho (Ridley Scott Associates). Both the producer and director on all projects were great fun and lovely to work with (even if the director was a bit nuts it was in a good way ;) if I can be of any help in terms of offering advice or opinions based on experience then please feel free to give me a shout.
