You can only rotate it in increments of 72°, and it's not the same shape as a Q-Ring. Whether that lets you align the major axis somewhere near where you imagine you'll be getting these illusory benefits I couldn't say, although if you think you can then you'll get the placebo effect which is all that's on offer from any non-circular chainring.
