last straw was two completely and utterly awful passes that just went nowhere (20 push ups for everyone) so I decided enough was enough and fucked off.
thankfully playing 3's means selection isn't based on training attendance. I'll just have to stick to cycling, starting back running, a game on a Saturday and the occasional gym visit for exercise.
