  • As a bona fide racing whippet this might not be the entirely right thread for me but I do care about what I eat and how I eat in terms of fuelling myself and maintaining a correct weight. I don't so much have a problem going overweight but once racing season gets under way I can and do go under weight which really affects my performance.

    I've read so many books about sports nutrition but so far only one has really stuck out in terms of "normal" people and a sports diet.

    Racing Weight by Matt Fitzgerald (VeloPress) is basically common sense. Not too much science and does not rely on this or that fad..

    Might be of use to someone..
