I use them every morning as breakfast, given that I run to work 3 mornings a week and hit the gym on the other two I'm not worried, I then use it for lunch on the weekend as recovery from a long run with a banana in it too, I then have a sandwich and rice cakes for lunch and a normal dinner.
This equates to about 15-1600 calories a day, which has resulted in about 10kg of weight loss since the beginning of october including the week either side of xmas drinking about 3 pints, little exercise and not watching what I was eating.
