I have recently acquired an Acer Aspire One 521h off a colleague for £20. He thought it was completely knackered but there was only an issue with Windows. I have wiped it and installed Ubuntu 11.10. After a bit of initial bother trying to get wifi to work (known issue so there was a fix on a forum) it seems to be grand.
Plan is to upgrade the RAM to 2GB.
The only issue is the battery won't hold any charge. Stock, it's a 2200mAh affair.
Question is, if I buy this replacement battery will it be ok? It seems to have the same dimensions and voltage. I assume the increased capacity will only be beneficial??
