Those aren't lady cyclist legs, these are! Those legs above are the result of spending too much time on machines in the gym!

I got my first 2 wheeled bike in 1940 when I was six. I didn't know anybody with a camera then, so I don't have any photos.
As regards after cycling, I haven't stopped yet, so there's no photo of me then neither.Neil.

Neil wins the thread.

I had no idea it was a contest!

I must've been late to start cycling as I recall it being the subject of some mockery in primary school, so I'm guessing I was 7 or 8. Like Neil, I haven't stopped since, although compared to most people on the forum it could also be said I never really started either. There's still the possiblility of my becoming more than a 'casual' cyclist one of these days...

This thread has prompted me to trawl through old photos - and that is making me depressed.
Hundreds of photos of a healthy, squeezy, fuller-faced, laughing Alex compared with a few of me now :(
Argh!

Me (2010) , before my biceps/triceps went on a permanent sabbatical...
There'll be some sort of 'after' in 2 months time...

I'm not going to burden you with photo's of me from my younger years, because I've been virtually the same size and shape since I was about 16. I have fluctuated slightly (obviously the Guinness years took their toll) but can still get into my benchmark trousers.
I have noticed that my metabolism have slowed since I reached 35 and I expect it to slow further still until I finally cark it.
