It's not really that extreme now is it? After being fitted at Roberts and discussing the geometry this is what resulted. Keep in mind that probably wont be the final handlebar position and that I have pretty much all of my 6 ft 3 height in my legs and it doesn't seem that crazy.

It's not extreme or crazy, but with the bar height where it is now and the amount of seatpost showing, another cm or two on the height of the frame may have meant you could have had less of a stem angle and less seatpost.

It's a minor quibble, I still think it's a lovely looking frame.
