I finished my DartmoorAdventureBike just before Christmas.

The idea was for a versatile bike for Devon lanes, bridal paths and moors, and something that'd be fun and safe to ride in the middle of winter.
Being a bike for occasional rather than constant use I didn't want to spend much on the build either.
Diamondback frame, Exotic forks, FSA headset.
Deore M590 everything, including the hydraulic brakes with 160mm discs, all picked up cheaply from Merlin Cycles.
Chunky wheels (with pretty rubbish Quando hubs).
Deda stem and OnOne Fleegle Pro handlebars.
