Come on. This is a thread on Heavy Metal. Posting an album released 3 months ago from a band who have had some not insignificant success over the past 8 years and proclaiming "New Album! Recommended!" Really? No fucking shit!
You Mastodon post was the equivalent of "Yeah I bought a fixie wixie! Hai guyzzzzz.....can I be cool too?"
It was politely pointed out that we were not unfamiliar with the album and your response was to be a sarcastic dick.
So yeah. Fuck you for your shitty attitude. You were called out for it, as you should be.
You are welcome to join the conversation but Rule #1 is "Don't be a dick." Follow rule #1 and you'll be fine.
