Which winter shoes / boots are people using?

i reckon i'm definitely missing something but why don't you just go to a shop that stocks sidi shoes and try them on?

Because I am sat at my parents house on Boxing day looking at buying some shoes on the Internet, and therefore trying to work out what size I need by educated guess-work.

I freely admit that this is not the best way of doing things.

Also, I tried on my current Sidi's in the shop and still got it wrong, so I might have better luck this way!
