My point was about campaigning in general, we are a very active, vocal bunch of people. There are some members involved in cycling campaigning, I am just surprised that there are not more involved.

    Stonehedge, I do agree that cyclists could improve some of their behaviours too, and see that things like education can make a significant contribution. Its just that despite my cynicism I do hope that there are things we can do to help improve the situation.

    Things like the vigil have a mixed message, there were some people blatantly involved in their own political campaigns in attendance.

    The vigils are not the only way to help, there are plenty of other ways to get involved - local campaigning groups, marshalling skyrides etc, for me it is about trying to get more people on the roads safely. Lfgss has been a huge part in the recent growth of cycling in the capital, I would suggest it has contributed to the resurgence in a huge way.
