...didn't really get on with the Fuji equivalent (I think it is) Pro 160S and 400H as I found it difficult to get the colours right, always too cold/green.
you just have to try things out - I've never got on with higher speed colour film (other people get good results from Superia 400 and 800), but rather like the visible grain and contrast of higher speed b&w, for example.
I agree about the cooler colours of Fuji 400H Pro. I don't mind it though, you can rate it at 800 or 1600 no problem and still get great results.
The Superia 800 is basically the same as 800 Extra AFAIK. I only really use it if I'm changing colours to black & white. It's pretty grainy as you'd imagine but that too can be interesting.
