  • Oh okay thanks for the information! I've got a Flickr account. All my shots have been taken with the Fujicolour C200 what do you think of the C200? Will I notice a huge difference if i change?

    well if you change to hp5 or fp4 you will as they're both black and white films...

    I use a lot of Fuji Superia 200, it's fairly cheap from 7dayshop. supposedly it has better colour and less grain than the C200.

    I use quite a lot of Fuji Reala too when I can find it at a decent price.

    getting pricier, Kodak Portra 160 and 400NC were very nice with slightly warm natural tones, haven't used the new version yet though. didn't really get on with the Fuji equivalent (I think it is) Pro 160S and 400H as I found it difficult to get the colours right, always too cold/green.

    you just have to try things out - I've never got on with higher speed colour film (other people get good results from Superia 400 and 800), but rather like the visible grain and contrast of higher speed b&w, for example.

    also, I've entirely given up on using slide film as I'm just not good enough at exposing correctly.
