The Forty can be a bit bulge-y too though, just in a different way.

Maybe if the frame was lugged it wouldn't be so noticeable.

It's probably par for the course with decent non-integrated headsets unfortunately, they're always trying to make the bearings bigger in order to handle the load better.

coincidently the bike before that one in the flickr stream has a ritchey headset on it so i can compare directly
