Is the seat pan mounted on springs, or hard fixed to the frame.

I am a big fan of using an MTB shock on a hardtail, as springs just bounce you out the seat all the time

I got springs at teh mo, but it actually rode better when the pan was fixed straight to the frame

Current seat is mounted on springs so will go for that as well on this.
The springs are from a digger and are very stiff but with enough give so they don't
bounce you out.
The way it's set up I can lock the seat directly to the frame as well.
I guess I will play around abit.
