Brisbane in particular is ridiculously over-inflated for bike products.
Try to steer clear of suburban bike shops, as they are the worst offenders. Epic cycles in Rosalie is pretty good value for a nice, independent shop. Avoid the peninsula, anything in west end, or wooloongabba industrial area.
