this tune is all over Elgar Cello concerto,
pretty awesome actually, that bit at 1.54 though, is it deliberate?Yup and yup.
For a), it brutalises it a little but does it in a sympathetic enough way I feel. Not your standard amen break meets violins bastardisation.
and for b) deliberate, but not on the album version, just the video. There's a much longer proper intro on the album version too, bumps it up to 7 minutes ish.
The whole rossz csillag alatt született album is worth a listen if you like your beats slightly broken but reasonably intelligent. Hard going at times though. -

In the middle of Girl Talk's All Day he puts Beastie Boys on top of Iggy's Lust for Life and I almost merged onto the M25 becaue I thought I'd be able to keep up with the fuckers.
But generally the Japandroids. Or Bon Iver's new one for drunk cycling at night around Hyde Park

Nothing it would be suicidal to were headphones and not hear what's behind you.
Although there is a guy in Cambridge who plays heavy metal from a carrier bag on his handlebars.
He cycles up and down Kings parade (I think his brain is broken). -

ha! some great tunes here
^talking about suicidal, I used to shorten my 20 minute ride to school by 5 minutes blasting ST' 'Lights, Camera, Revolution'. on my walkman (>>>> middle aged thread)
now I just imagine an orchestra accompanying me the last couple of hundred meters up (let's say) Le Mont du Chat

/\ ST 'Two wrongs don't make a right' always had me blasting past school and into dangerous territory way back then....... (not quite middle aged, but lived life a bit too well thread)
65 Days of Static have me flying whenever I listen to it though
