I think I've finally got my bike about how I want it. Its about bloody time, I only started the damn thing at the start of September!
But its feeling good for the most part now. A change to a Raceface carbon flat bar, another 50mm of stretch in a new 100mm Thomson X4 stem, nicer grips, my old M545 SPDs and a 42t chainring that allowed an almost perfect chain tension meaning I could get rid of the shitty chain tensioner.
The whole thing feels lighter and tighter. Just waiting on proper rim tape and will try going tubeless to lose another 200g per wheel.
And then I might get a carbon fork... maybe a frame in the spring...
The last pic is my good luck gremlin mech stuck on top of down tube, he makes me happy! :D
