Have you resolved the gear fouling issue yet - and did you get out for a decent spin?
I love this frame, and the build, but when I look where the saddle ends up in relation to the pedals, I can't help thinking it looks waaayy too far back. My old beater suffers from this syndrome as it is an MTB with a very long seatpost, and it makes for a comfy ride but compromised climbing and acceleration, and discomfort on anything beyond 10 mile rides.
So how does yours feel?

I thought the same but only just noticed the seat tube doesn't join the down tube at the BB - so maybe an optical illusion? It's a cool looking bike, would love to know a bit more about the frame
