I once really pissed off a Welsh kid at school when I said I thought Pob spoke his mother tongue (I did think this was the case as a youngster).
The kid did not actually speak Welsh and then someone else convinced him that Pob did indeed speak the language.

An animation about furry bunny rabits, with music by that nice Art Garfunkel. Now thats going to be fine for the toddlers.
Crawls under desk, and weeps for the little bunnies

Fiver's visions with the gassed rabbits, and the snares. There's simply nothing like that for kids these days.

I was on a commuter train home, and a couple women were complaining about the Harry Potter film (first one). About how scary these new kids films are, and that they are not really for kids. Then a guy opposite mentioned the child catcher of Chutty chutty bang bang.
I swear the whole carrige had took a sharp intakt of breath.

In 1980 I was 8 and went to see The Empire Strikes Back and preceding it was a short film called "Black Angel" which really messed with my head.
It's never been released on video or DVD though last year the original director found what is believed to be the only print of it anywhere.
George Lucas apprently paid for it personally as a thanks to the art director of Star Wars who wanted to make a film of his own and it's become semi-mythical because no-one anywhere has seen it in 30 years since that original release.

Mr Noseybonk was properly odd. Today his phallic nose just seems wrong.
When Pob grew up he became Martin Clunes.
I had a friend from Northern Ireland who used to joke with me that when talking about going down the pub in front of her young niece, on hearing the word pub pronounced with a Northern Irish accent, she would always assume they were talking about 'Pob' and make that rasping, spitting sound.
david soul one when she floats up to the window?
