The last thing we need to do is spend more money on our military!
We already have the fourth highest military spending of all the countries in the world.

The figures are in dollars, but you can see we spent $57,424,000,000 in 2010- roughly $1000 for every single man woman and child in the country, in one year!!!
And we have spent £3.9 billion since 1998 on armoured vehicles.

Think how much good this money could do if it wasn't spent on killing machines! Almost 60 billion dollars a year, every year. Think of that money being invested in hospitals, schools, public transport, cycling infrastructure. Or tax cuts for the poor. Think how much good it could achieve!
Please don't call for more military spending!
(this is not off-topic because our military spending is an epic fail)
