  • I for one believe that James is 100% genuine in wanting to change and to calm down. I see him as a very different person now than when I first met him. Thank God for different personalities, though--I wouldn't want him to change entirely, and certainly not his dominant character as a pronounced extrovert. James is the sort of person for whom it is simply the wrong strategy to internalise problems. When you are this communicative by nature you just have to communicate, and yes, that creates emotional overspill and conflict at times--but much less now than it used to, I think. More so than many other people, James relies on the opinions and feelings of those around him to find his way, and this is often what causes people to take issue with him, but I think his heart is completely in the right place.
