  • I think my messenger bag is finally fucking up my shoulder after 4 years of playing nice.

Last week or two had been experiencing mild pain in my shoulder blade area which seemed to correspond with the main contact area of the back to my back, then last week I stupidly overloaded the bag with some bulky but not heavy items so the bag/straps were putting a load of tension through my shoulder as I couldn't expand them any more.
That night could hardly sleep for the pain that seemed to be in my shoulder blade somewhere and was limiting movement and even hurting to breathe a bit.

This last weekend the pain and mobility improved massively when not using the bag so I thought "I'm fixed, get the bag out again for commuting" Bang back to square one last night.

Anyone else been crippled by their choice of bag? Thinking about a backpack or more liklely pannier bag to put a stop to this.
