  • That is begging for some porteur/mousetash/northroad type bars.... you know it's right.

    i agree: porteurs!

  • Jealous... :(

    Sorry.

  • Yep. Had a good hard lol at that.^

  • I need a lay down..

Finally got the fork clearance ive been wanting for a long time with 25c tyres!
Thanks to the forumengers for the parts.

    Campagnolo Chainring

    Sugino Zen Chainring

    Clearances

  • looks nice. Now you just need some proper pedals.

  • Yeh, and bar tape, just not sure what to go with for pedals... :/

  • Slap that spok in the front to turn the HHSB up a notch

  • Whats happened to the TC? Been after one for ages! Ace frames.

She lives, but I've got a new ride and I'm going to mothball it till decide what to do with it, I'm thinking new wheels and a modern groupset

    Campagnolo Chainring

    Needs moar slavery

  • supreme stickers, a spok with a hed3 sticker, ourys, risers, knog lights, parts that deliberately clash in colour...

  • Needs more " waterproof stickers (obey, Vans, Supreme ect...)"

  • Many LOL.

And my work here is done!! :D

  • This looks so much fun, i've always had a soft spot for konas. I was thinking about trying something like this myself in the new year. Is it the original rear wheel you're using or something specifically single speed?

Yup, just used the original rear wheel, removed cassete and replaced with a single sprocket and spacers to get the chainline correct

Excellent. Frames like that should live forever.

  • I know GT owners anonymous was a page or 2 back, but here's mine. Just been swapping a few bits around as I'll be using this as a runabout/commute over winter. A few things I'd like to change (the colorful bits, 0 rise stem, to have matching wheels again after a mate fooked the other crossride tring to bunnyhop) but ah well, MBUK mismatched GTs from our youts FTW

  • Finally finished! Only took 6 months to get frame repaired and built up again...

I'll obviously put track forks on and remove the brake as Spring approaches.

I went with Omniums in the end. I'm pretty pleased with them.

    And yes, slack chain.

  • is that a tub on the back?

  • Sure is. Obviously won't be riding that wheel on the road too much! I've just built up a 24h 50mm rear clincher for it...

EDIT: Its not a PX rim by the way. Its an unknown rim built onto a powertap SL hub with Sapim CX. It has PX decals because I bought it from a team PX rider. Not surprisingly they don't like their riders racing on rival products :D

  • This may take some time.

  • This may take some time.

    Ooo what's that? Looks pretty...

  • Ill give you two guesses. Or bob down and look at it.

  • Did those feathers, if they are feathers, come with the bike, or did a hippy/an artist paint them on later?
