  • ^ +1. Better than In Bruges I thought...

Watched 'Closer to the Edge' a few days ago. Incredible!

  • I'm going to watch Senna tonight. Been told by a workmate that it's v.good.

  • Rare exports: a Christmas tale, started my Christmas movies already!
    It's dark, twisted and amusing.
    Santa is evil.
    Shit goes down.
    On the ps3 lovefilm.

  • just watched 'Grave of the Fireflies', so tragic and moving. Even if you don't like anime i would recommend it

    Million plus one.

Really fucking sad, if you didn't shed a tear at the end of the film, you're not hard enough.

  • I watched The Guard the other day

I must say I thoroughly enjoyed it. Dark humour. In Bruges style.
    Worth a watch

I loved In Bruges, glad to hear that The Guard is of similar style.

  • DDL apparently has been in character since March

I've got a lot of time for that sort of dedication, and he's never been afraid to indulge himself. Although Olivier with his 'Just act, darling' line to Hoffman might disagree. He's even starting to look just like Lincoln.

Got a Blu-Ray and HD TV to goof around with now and will feed it 'Antichrist' soon which I hear is crap, but it demands to be seen.

I can safely say that its the worst film I have ever had the displeasure of watching. An absolute steaming great pile of horseshit.

  • watched "catch .44" pretty enjoyable film.

  • watched diary of a wimpy kid. Quite funny. True story bro

Watched it earlier. The most fitting criticism of it is that it's just plain boring.

  • Is it worse than Mimic?

  • First to get the name of the creature and film wins rep.... 3.. 2.... 1....... GO!

Me too, Guy Martin is such a strange yet loveable character. Incredible describes it to a T!

  • First to get the name of the creature and film wins rep.... 3.. 2.... 1....... GO!

Ridley's cat callled Jonesy which featured in Alien and Aliens.

  • First to get the name of the creature and film wins rep.... 3.. 2.... 1....... GO!

    RIck Deckard

  • Watched Bridesmaids and The kids are all right...
(missus has the video card not me)
Bridesmaids had some great comedy moments in, the outline is a bit ChickFlix with shit happy ending.. But the Grooms sister is a work of Comic genius, and the embarrassment factor leads to some pretty LOL moments. no anchorman but worth a watch

The kids are all right - very good, some amazing camera work at the big scenes and so well scripted. the use of lesbians in the context removes all the usual issues that come into play when you have an affair and raises it above. clever piece and so well acted. the tension is well punctuated with some lovely humour. i can see why it did so well at the oscars

  • 'Senna' - excellent. Shorter and infinitely more interesting than watching an interminable F1 race.

'The Thing' - don't bother, just watch the original.

'Ne le dis a personne' - good French thriller, well acted although the plot is a bit silly.

  • First to get the name of the creature and film wins rep.... 3.. 2.... 1....... GO!

this is actually killing me i know what is i just can't remember!

    RIck Deckard

clearly nothing to do with indiana jones's stunt double

watched this the other night fucking PISSED myself, very very funny.

  • ^^ It is very funny - Jennifer Aniston's character is hilarious. After seeing this I started watching Always Sunny in Philadelphia - which stars Charile Day. Highly recommended!

  • yeah... it's no Office Space tho.

  • Not been to the cinema for almost 3 weeks - going to try and see 50/50 before it drops out. Looks like I will be skipping 'The Thing' remake. This weeks releases actually don't look half bad. The new Harold and Kumar should at least be as good as the last one. Puss in boots - has got to be worth checking out too.
