  • Duncan X at Into You does the best blackwork lettering I've ever seen bar none.

Yes, and if you can get an appointment this side of Easter you'd be doing well.
Also, from what i can tell, he isnt interested in doing smaller pieces.

  • Kids Love Ink - Deptford

I am thinking of going there for a piece, they seem decent. Reviews / feedback?

  • Sound, Marcus did the sugar skull on my elbow

  • Got a photo?

  • Artist was David Pozo in the Glasgow Forevermore, think he worked in the London one (might even be a part owner?).
Been tattooed by him a few times before, thought he had moved to Italy but went in to see who else was available in the studio and book for this and he was there.

Anyone experienced problems with red ink? I've heard reds and yellows are the most likely to create an allergic reaction and I'm still getting quite a lot of weeping (coloured) and like I say my arm is pretty swollen. Had plenty other tats by David and other artists at the studio and not had any problems, I have my other arm tattooed in a similar place but a smaller piece and think that swelled up for a day or two and also have elbow on other arm tattooed and I'm sure it swole up quite a bit too just this seems a bit worse.

Maybe I just need to HTFU.

I used to live in Glasgow and know some of the guys from Nevermore, Dave does some really good work.

I've had problems with red ink before, specifically Starbrite. Just took ages to heal and didn't heal very well looked shit, and was horribly itchy. The next time I got tattooed I asked the artist which brand of red he used found it was Starbrite again and got him to use something else instead, no problem at all. Find out which type of ink you had problems with and avoid it in the future. Not terribly helpful for your problem now i know.

  • Cheers, I'll find out.
Most of the heavy scabs have came off now and it's not actually looking too bad where they were.
I'm still a bit tender, very itchy and the tattoo feels quite bumpy but I think that given a wee while longer it'll be alright.

  • Mine was finished on Thursday (finally). It's an arse to take a picture of so I will wait for the artist to up load the ones taken on the day.

I'm approaching the itchy stage, but it's not as lumpy as when it was done (thankfully).

  • Got a photo?

    There's one some pages back.

  • ^^win!

  • Proof if it was ever needed that money does not buy taste.

But it does get a tweed ticket.

    Ooo, like that a lot.
Really like her pattern work, althought this one reminds me of a Tie Fighter/the Death Star

Naturally. World-class tattooists tend to have long waiting lists.
