A wee update on this. Getting about 2 hours usable time in a "see where I'm going" utility. After that it's probably good for another few hours "being seen" but I always charge it at that point. A nice(r) but pricey but not joystick-pricey version would probably be one of those new lezyne lights + the new helmet bracket.
