Not sure if this is the right place or not but I downloaded one of those cycling apps for my phone and decided to test it out this evening on a ride to the shops, I was going for it as I wanted to see what I could do as I'm interested in doing some more serious riding rather than just commuting.

Average speed: 17.9 mph
Pace: 3:20mins/mile
Time: 17:39mins
Two climbs just pushing 60 feet
Where do I stand at the moment? I live in the middle of nowhere so i'm racing against 4x4's and tractors, there is no cycling scene apart from the odd donkey who can't ride for sh1t and chooses some swish argus bike as their steed. I would like to know where I am in terms of fitness compared to other riders and also what could I do to improve that time?
