My mother sells Eames Lounge Chairs (and other things) that she has re-covered in fancy designer fabrics. They have a bit of "I saw you coming" about them.
Incidentally I have a very rich Saudi friend whose parents have a holiday home in Nice - it was built and furnished in the 1970s and it has a proper Herman Miller Eames Lounge chair in it, and a wall of bright red modular storage cubes held together with velcro. They also have a full-size gold-plated statue of a puma and lots of other gaudy stuff.
