1) You're already paying through the nose
2) It's a puppy/drug dealer tactic... give something for free now, then take it away and watch dependency kick in and you hand over the money next year
Sky's entire business model is based on driving up the amount earned per customer per year. And this is how they've done it in the past, so this is what they'll do in the future.
