Condolences to the family and friends, RIP Ellie.

Her name was Ellie, she was my best mate's sister. We were with her a week ago today.

She was an amazing girl.

Awful and shocking news. RIP lady. It terrifies me to think any one of us could be the 'rider down'

It's all well and good posting on these threads but that's not going to make change happen to stop these needless deaths.

Please take a few seconds to email the Mayor to demand safer junctions in London.

Next Wednesday a motion in the London Assembly will call on the Mayor to explain the lack of safety at junctions.

LCC needs your support to keep the pressure on!

it's so awful to expect the next death will be HGV related and likely to be a women, Ellie's friends and families, I can't even begin to imaging what you're going through.

So sad and so frustrating that this government is not taking note of these awful statistics; 16 in a year and God knows how many over the last few years

If there had been 16 peds killed this year at zebra crossings or other locations there'd be something done about it
