  • Milk - it seems to have come to that time of year when milk does not froth as well. Is it a change in diet from grass to hay?

Should I go to full fat milk not semi skimmed?

Bang on, the cows are moving into their winter sheds and going on to silage. We've just started to get some inconsistency.

Full fat is always easier to foam, not sure if it makes a difference in respect of the seasonal change. FWIW, at our place all our milk comes from one herd so the difference is marked. Supermarket milk which mixes milk from hundreds of herds in vats, as opposed to corner-shop milk which often comes from a single dairy, is likely to remain more stable.
