It's not a question of political correctness or "showing off" as you put it.
It's a matter of not being a dick.
Writing a tedious and lengthy note to potential customers stating that you: "...hold a Trans-Modern view of sincerity and in no way is this message espousing Post-Modern irony." And that if there were "...any points in our philosophy you did not agree with, we would rather not hear about them." paints a picture of 'them' being a massive bunch of massive cunts.
I wish I could give them the pleasure of knowing that I will do my best never to visit and make sure everyone I meet does the same.
But they would rather not hear about it.
