Does it mean the front wheel is also a back wheel, and carries the fixed "flop"?
The Pugsly uses a standard 135 OLD rear hub. The rim is offset, so that the cassette side is pushed out. This to allow the chain to pass the fat tyre, while in the granny ring of the crankset. In order to get a 100mm tyre in the front, its obviously a good idea to have more than a 100 OLD front hub/fork combo. So Surly just went with a standard rear 135mm. Then figured they'd offset the front fork legs too. So you could swap wheels. Fatbike wheels are bloody expensive. So if you fancy having both SS and hub gear options for example. Its nice not to have to buy an extra wheel.
