  • We may be having to rehome this little lass. Long story short, mrs_com's sister is a 20 year old child who whined until she got a kitten for her birthday this year (I had my misgivings from the start but gave her the benefit of the doubt). Needless to say she is blatantly refusing to look after her and mrs_com's mother is too busy working and raising her other child (an actual 6 year old child - who often shows more maturity than the 20 year old) to be fair to this little fluff ball.

She is a mix but mainly English Blue (I think), less than a year old. Chipped, spayed and vaccinated (at mrs_com-in-law's expense, another gripe of mine but that's another story). We have toyed with the idea of having 3 cats but I think it's a stretch too far and she doesn't seem to warming to our pair. We don't really have the space or time for prolonged quarantine etc so there are just stand-offs at the minute.

Other than that, she is VERY affectionate. Purry, loves people. Litter trained. Quiet.

Also, any potential saviour would have their very own version of the original I CAN HAZ CHEEZBURGER? cat!

mrs_com doesn't want to rehome straight away, preferring to wait until she gets a reaction from her sister (I don't think she's been home yet so I don't know how in the hell she thinks the cat is being looked after. as far as she knows, she left the cat locked in her room 48 hours ago and has been out with her mates since, we took the cat home to ours last night).

    Anyway, what do you reckon?
