Compression tights during physical activity strikes me as being wrong.

I use Skins compression gear for most things now. The idea is that your muscles wobble about less. So you expire less energy stabilising them. I dont know or care if there are performance gains from this TBH. But if you carry a lot of muscle bulk. It certainly feels good.
I think the calf compressors help reduce cramp. So I wear them when running longer distances.
