Jonathan McShane just e-mailed back to say that officers are looking at quotes for a timer system for Downs. He'll get back when he knows how long it's likely to take. It might be a wait, but hopefully such things will become standard issue for courts.

was a success! decent court but unfortunately the lights went out at 8..

no trouble at all from anyone, in fact the workshop next to the court appeared to be pleased it was getting used

cool, guess it's a silver lining to that colmpany messing up, if they'd have let you book for £10, you probably would be giving them money, instead you've found another free court! :-)

If you manage to get in touch with one of the Hackney lighting engineers, they might extend the timer on the lights.
