I have had several pairs of cycling-specific winter gloves and all have been shit in one way or another. Pearl Izumi were zipped on one side and the zip gave up after a few months; Endura Dexter "windproof" gloves - ha, I could feel the wind coming through the stitching before it even got properly cold. This year I've gone for these North Face ones which I got for £20 in a sale a couple of months back. Just perfect: just enough grip where you need it, completely windproof and don't look like daft cycling gloves.
