OK - so this may only be interesting to me (and possibly MoN - although he clearly know about it already, so maybe not even to him) - but this is where I found out all about the deep shelters - of which Stockwell is one, the Eisenhower centre is another. There's also one visible by Clapham North

The shelter has also a painting of Violette Szabo - World War II special operations agent and resident of Stockwell - on it.
