I went to see TinTin today, as a film-goer and animation fan I enjoyed it, quite an enjoyable romp. As a TinTin fan its was a piss poor story, maybe 10% of the orignal book. They've tried to keep the fans happy by making loads of references to the books (e.g. 'The Crab with the Golden Claws', even 'Explorers on the Moon' at one point) but that wasn't good enough for me, the orignal books are good enough they didn't need to be mashed together like that.
