I'm slowly reading through this thread while debating new lights on which new lights to buy - so far I think Im just gun a get some of those hong kong type torch things (my dads turned up today, seems quite good quality, but how do you change from one mode to the next or is it just lucky dip like it seems to be now?) that issue aside they seem quite good for under 30quid.
My mate also received his cheap eBay light recently, seems really good but I don't want an external battery supply as they look ugly and I don't need that much brightness for my uses.
For the rear I'm thinking a mars 4.0, or just use the one that comes with the front and see how I fair.
I really do love my current lights though, from decathlon, just over a tenner for the pair, I've had them maybe 8 months and they haven't let me down at all. Theyre the ones that look like knogs. And they fit everything from the 25.4 of my Raleigh bars and seat post, through the 31.8 of oversized bars, all the way up the 34.9 of my downhill bike seat post, really can't rate them highly enough if you just need a light to be seen :D
