• My driveway is about 20m long with a >10% gradient. I cant get to the bottom of it without filling my overshoes with snow, or have the toe pushed up. I also need to push my cleats right in to prevent crank arm rub. I dont walk loads in them, but have to shoulder the bike over areas of deep snow alot.

    Anyway. If you're going to be happier in proper winter boots, and can afford proper winter boots. Then its a far better purchase then expensive indoor training kit IMO.
