The MTB soes I commute in now are pretty small. I have over-shoes. But what I'd really like is room for thicker socks, and more insulating in-soles. Metal cleats and their bolts suck the heat from inside your shoes.
I'm with BRP. I like to think of myself as a tough, weather resilient, type. But cold toes or fingers make me a sad little furry.
