Hi everyone!
I've been here for quite a while now, and now want to get stuck into this site and the community here a bit more, really useful place to learn about bikes and get out on them.
I'm a student in east london, so regularly commute down CS2 and through central+west out to chiswick a couple of times a week for rowing.
I mainly use my specialised road bike, but i've almost finished a fixed wheel build that i want to use for the commute, and have owned a few other bikes on the way.
Here they are!
Might see some of you soon at drinks/jumbles/races whatever :) -

Looking to get more into the bike culture in London so this forum looks great. Only been here since March - used to ride a dutch style bike when I lived in Amsterdam for 4 years. I've never had a single speed bike before (not really interested in fixed gear) but I tested out a Charge Plug today and it was pretty fun to ride. Thing is it's so spendy! It was on sale for £500 and it looks super nice but I kinda only want to spend around £250-£350 so wanted to get on here and ask the forum for good options for either places to get secondhand bikes, cheaper basic but good options or tips on how to custom build my own.

Hello everybody, I've been riding fixed for 4 years, have other bikes but 95% is on fixed. Unusually my better half also rides fixed but never gets to ride with other females who are fixed / ss riders. We live in the smallest county in the country [only one without a MacD's]. Our riding experience is the opposite end of the scale to you guys and girls in London, as an example I never get passed on average by more than 1 vehicle per mile. I would like to experience riding in London and would be up for leading a ride where we live [Utopia for bikes]. Will follow the rides section with interest.

Hello, New here! currently looking to build a trinity light blue frame. Any suggestions welcome - came with a Nitto stem and seat pole. I shall mainly be purusing the for sale threads.

Don't buy a charge bike!
Build one from scratch :) get a decent frame for as cheap as possible and go from there! -
