  • Carbonara. Cheap and delicious. Make and eat carbonara.

    Eggs, pancetta (OK, just bacon), pasta... Still, not so cheap...

    1.5kg Shoulder of pork (£5), packet of bacon (£2), some herbs from garden (£0), garlic. chilli, salt and pepper...
    Make delicious marinade with herbs and stuff, put pork in bag with said herbs and stuff for a bit... Roll meat and put bacon on the outside... Heat oven to maximum temp, put meat in, turn right down to gas mark 2 straight away... Keep checking, four hours later should be OK... Enough meat for 2 for about 3 days...
