Absolutely, and to some extent my statement is a bit trolly, but for me it's also got a serious point, I would rather play a competitive game, with players I'm used to, above a throw-in where possible.

And I love to watch other competitive games, in every game there are tactics, moves etc, which other players and teams do, which one can learn from, and improve ones game.

Too much focus on improvement, not enough focus on enjoyment?

My order of preference:
Drinking at souths with Jp, lee and the dinos > team play > cat b nights > beginners > the league > tournaments > other thowins.

I'd be pretty pissed off if I only managed to make it to souths to play polo each week and I wasn't playing in the league and then had to sit and wait around for 30mins just because people couldn't organise a game on the other 6days which exist in the week.

Just because people say it's cool, I don't think everyone who agrees to let games get played feels this way. They just don't want to rock the boat.

I know its annoying for people who wanna play throw ins but with no other courts and trying to get 6 people available on the same night, I kinda feel its inevitable.

Are those poloschlaeger caps better material than the ones John H has for the 3pmh heads?

Yes

If you ask almost anyone except me then the answer is yes.

They are a lot more solid. But I think the diameter is smaller so I don't think they will perfectly fit the 3pmh heads. But I might be wrong.

No I (ms.chris) just meant if the caps were better for their own native head.
I wasnt thinking of using a schlaeger cap with a 3pmh head.

Looks like we'll not be playing till 9 pm so second court will defo be free :)

I'd like to take the opportunity to remind everybody that the windows for fixtures are quite large as is, there isn't really an excuse for playing on a throw-in night unless somebody is let down last minute.

I am extremely busy at the moment because of a promotion, understaffing at my workplace, and family shitstorm, yet I could still find several windows for polo if I was willing to move my life around for it, which I am, because Polo is fucking awesome.

Anyone up for polo later this evening? Let's say 5-ish?
