If anyone was curious about the Cambridge 24h tourney but hasn't organised anything, I can come to your rescue!
I have a space available in my car to travel down Friday night and return Sunday afternoon (I plan to have a few hours kip after the 24h ends). You won't have to share the driving and I think the route I've chosen is interesting enough that I won't need you to be awake for constant conversation. There are sofas and mattresses at the court so all you'll need is your polo stuff and a sleeping bag.
Return train tickets are now £80, you can be chauffeured to the Tourney for £45 or we can come to an arrangement involving food and beers if you want to save some cash.
This is a great opportunity to play on a quality court with and against some of the best players in the National Series.
Any of you who haven't been to a big tourney this year, this would be a great way to really raise your game if you're interested in going beyond local throw-ins next year.
OPPORTUNITY!!!
